Spółka z o.o. [English name: Specialist Works Company
„East” LLC] has been operating on the market since June
1998. It conducts works associated with driving and recon-
structing headings and chambers as well as shaft works. It
realizes investments and maintenance works in areas like:
industrial building, general and mining building as well as
renovations of historic buildings. It has experience in con-
structing sport infrastructure.
PRS „WSCHÓD” Sp. z o.o. employs ca. 1000 people.
Engineering and technical staff is knowledgeable and
skillful what has been confirmed by Local Mining Council’s
certificates.
The company has performed mining works for Lubel-
ski Węgiel “Bogdanka” S.A. since 1998 (Nadrybie and
Stefanow fields), for JSW S.A. KWK „Budryk” since 2000
(independent department with energomechanic services
and blasting crew) and since 2006 for JSW S.A. KWK „Bo-
rynia- Zofiówka” – Zofiówka colliery.
We conduct driving and reconstruction of headings and
chambers, deepening, driving and reinforcing works in
shafts and retention tanks.
The company conducts works in difficult geological con-
ditions, with presence of highest degree of methane, fire
and water hazards and when there is a danger of coal dust
explosion. The excavations of Lubelski Węgiel “Bogdanka”
S.A. mine are driven at the depth of 990 m, in Jastrzębska
Spółka Węglowa – “Budryk” mine at 1050 m and in KWK
„Borynia-Zofiówka”, Zofiówka colliery at 900 and 1110 m.
We have driven over 40 000 meters of headings. Spe-
cialists from PRS „WSCHÓD” have proven themselves not
only underground, but also on the surface what can be
documented with a long list of references from finished in-
vestments. Among them, the most recognizable is object
realized in two stages by PRS „WSCHÓD” crews – modern
football stadium located by John Paul II Alley in Łęczna.
The project received numerous distinctions and awards,
including a national contest organized under the patron-
age of Aleksander Kwaśniewski, president of Poland –
“Modernization of the Year 2001” in category “Cultural,
Sport, Health and Recreation Objects”.
