For mines worldwide THIELE
produces mining chains according to
DIN 22252 or to THIELE-Works-
Standards (TWN). THIELE has
carried out the entire development of
all mining chain sizes – starting from
22 mm up to the current largest
diameter of 48 mm.
In addition to providing chain
strength, durability and economy,
THIELE was first to provide out-
standing precision for chain in
matched pairs.
THIELE produces three different
geometric types of chains: round-link,
flatlink and combination chains. Flight
bars are used for the conveying of
material in face conveyors or stage
loaders.
THIELE produces flight bars for
single strand, twin inboard and
outboard chain assemblies. All flight
bars are forged in THIELE´s own
forge department.
THIELE has developed several
connector types for different appli-
cations: Blockmaster, single plane,
flat type and shackle connectors.
