ing on the longwall conveyor with the use of the
plough;
innovative solution concerning the method of
--
building-in and supporting the longwall cavities,
namely the spaces created between the utmost
sections of the mechanized longwall support
and the longwall headings;
the system of connecting the armored face
--
conveyor with scraper conveyor in the headgate
which facilitates their mutual movement;
a modern method of connecting the headgate
--
scraper conveyor with the belt conveyor though
the use of a new type of driving station that al-
lows to move the scraper conveyor and shorten
the belt conveyor during the exploitation shift
what results in using a part of the maintenance
shift for advance of the longwall,
building retention tanks designed to protect the nor-
mal advance of the longwall and ensure continuity of
the hoisting shaft work;
builiding-in cumulative haulage system with the use
of belt conveyors with 1600-mm-wide belts adapted
to reception of raw material from even three long-
walls and using it for control with a help of radars
guiding the speed of the conveyor’s belt depending
on the size grade of the raw material.
presentation of mechanized transport:
3.
routes of underslung railways for transport of people
and materials to a desired destination depending on
the needs and present situation;
underslung internal combustion machines adapted
for present and future transport needs of the mine;
innovative way of near-shaft railways construction
– they are built on pipe-cement piles what ensures
their stability and reliability;
the use of concrete coatings for heading support
requiring restoration of original supporting capacity
with simultaneous reinforcement in order to prolong
their functioning;
the use of a new device for dusting the headings
with stone dust to prevent the possibility of coal dust
explosion. This device ensures very good and ef-
fective way of distributing stone dust for coal dust
neutralization which increases safety of the crew’s
work.
Furthermore all willing participants that are not going to
the mine bottom will have the opportunity to get familiar
with the structure of the basic surface infrastructure of the
mine. Our group will be guided by several engineers which
will present present investments realized in these areas:
mechanical processing of the coal,
surface coal haulage route from Stefanow to Bog-
danka,
mining shaft hoisting machines for transport of people,
the building of the hoisting machine
central air conditioning in Stefanow field.
