On behalf of the Organising Committee we would like to invite you to participate in a XIVth edition of International Mining Forum: a meeting of scientists and professionals who, together with the organizers, establish ambitious aims to confront ideas and experiences, evaluate implemented solutions, and discuss new ideas that might change the image of the mining industry.

XIVth International Mining Forum will be held on 25 - 27 February 2019 in Hotel Qubus, Krakow, Poland during the Cracovian conference School of Underground Mining.

Over 13 past editions IMF hosted experts from Poland, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Ukraine, Sweden, Russia, Serbia, China, Canada, USA, Australia, RSA and Chile. Since 2004 conference proceedings are printed by A.A. Balkema Publishers (since 2008 part of the Francis & Taylor group) – a renowned worldwide publisher.

Main topics of XIVth IMF are new techniques and technologies in mining and Coal Mine Methane as a valuable energy source.
